The Grand Privé Group of Casinos is preparing to set a new industry benchmark in April with the celebration of its 10th birthday. The group was established in 2001 and continues to be a pioneer in the online gambling industry.

According to Grand Privé spokesperson Sonia Bradshaw, April marks a decade of operation in the industry, one characterized by innovation, growth and entrepreneurship. “We launched our flagship brand, Casino GrandBay, in 2001 and it was a hit with players who responded well to the cruise ship, cruise to riches theme. It provided players with the ideal avenue to pursue entertainment in a fantasy environment.”

Bella Vegas with its Italian passion and flair meets ‘Vegas glamour,  and Jupiter Club Casino, where hedonism and decadence are in demand, opened their doors in 2002.  Lake Palace, the adventure themed casino, was launched in 2004 and was voted one of the best new casinos for that year. The final brand to be launched was RoadHouse Reels, a 1950s, rock ‘n roll styled casino.

“The casinos were uniquely themed and as a result found their own niche audiences, but being part of a larger group also catered to a wider set of players by offering them such variety,” says Bradshaw.

The highlight in the casino group’s ten year run was April 2010 when it adopted new gaming software.

“This past year saw a large shift in our philosophy and operating paradigm when we changed software providers to take up the new BetOnSoft platform. It was a perfect end to the decade and it is also an ideal way to begin the next decade.”

The group underwent this transformation in order to bring its player base an enhanced online experience.
